Jeff is also Managing Partner of Simcoe Partners, L.P. an investment partnership formed to invest primarily in undervalued small capitalization companies. Jeff worked as an analyst for Private Capital Management from 1999 through 2002 and as an analyst for Robotti & Company from 1996 through 1999. Prior to joining Robotti & Company in 1996, Jeff worked as a senior accountant at Deloitte & Touche LLP. | Chris is a Research Analyst at Robotti & Company. Other than for a limited period during 2009 when Chris joined a newly formed private equity group with a focus on acquiring small public and private companies, Chris has been an analyst for Robotti & Company since 2003. He is also the general partner and portfolio manager of Sansone Partners, LP, a fund launched in July, 2007. While at Robotti, Chris has managed a firm proprietary account specializing in small- and micro-cap equities. Prior to Robotti, Chris traded over-the-counter securities for Jefferies & Co. where he helped start the restructured- company equity desk. He also traded securities for Schwab Capital Markets and Herzog, Heine, Geduld, Inc. Chris began his career at Gabelli & Company, Inc. as a trader in the mutual funds division. Chris served as a member of the OCA Incorporated Bankruptcy Equity Committee.He holds a B.S. in Economics from Pace University and received an award of academic distinction for his major.
